  3. <hi style=afpcap>The Douglas A-20 Havoc began life as an attack bomber for export, with orders from France and the United Kingdom. The entry into the Second World War by the US saw the USAAF take delivery of numerous A-20s, including many of those destined for France. Several sub variants were produced with differing capabilities. These served in the European theatre as well as in the Pacific, fitted with an assortment of guns, as well as carrying a healthy bomb load. </hi>
